Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept my insurance?
I am fee for service private pay only. I take HSA or FSA account cards. I also offer a SuperBill for the services incurred that you mail or scan to your insurance provider for reimbursement Out-Of-Network.
How much does therapy cost?
Individual Sessions: $185 per session per 45-50 min session
Double Sessions: (2x per week) $325
Couples Sessions: $200-225 per 60-75 min session
Do you take credit card?
Yes, all sessions are paid for by credit, debit, HSA or FSA cards via an app called IVY pay. Some insurance companies will reimburse via a superbill for out of network coverage. I am happy to provide superbills for the service.
How often do I come to therapy and how long are the sessions?
Individual Sessions are 45-50 min long and are held at the same time each week. Depending on scheduling and availability they can be rescheduled outside of 48 hours of the session. Regular sessions are key to building consistent contact and secure safe space. There are certain instances in which client’s may benefit from coming 2x per week that will be discussed when we create our plan together.
What is the first session like?
The first session should feel like you are sitting down with an old friend. I will be sharing with you more about therapy with me and discover best fit. I will also be asking you a variety of questions to get to know you deeply. Client’s report a variety of experiences after their first session, such as “I felt relieved after getting that all off my chest.” & “I have never talked so much about myself.” It’s normal to experience a range of emotion from relief to shame or embarrassment. Whatever comes up is fair game and something to process in future sessions with me.
Where do I meet you?
Our Newport Beach therapy location is at 1000 Quail Street, Suite 190, Newport Beach CA 92660. When you arrive in the lobby, text my number (949) 891-1504, I will come out at your scheduled appointment time.
Do you offer online/teletherapy?
Yes, telehealth was vital for our emotional lives during the COVID-19 pandemic and now it is a trusted source for quality therapy. I use a HIPPA-compliant Zoom Platform to ensure a smooth and easy session for us to meet in the comfort of your home.

Some things to note about telehealth:
  • Consider your environment, make sure you are warm and comfortable, possibly light a candle before the session to signal a warm and secure environment as though I were welcoming you into my office.
  • Make sure you are in a private location and will not experience unwanted interruptions.
  • Make sure you have a secure WIFI signal so there will not be breaks in our session.
